Punjab: Responsibility of making students good citizens lies on parents and teachers

Punjab: Labour Department Secretary Manvesh Singh Sidhu, who is also in-charge of Fazilka district, today interacted with students, parents and teachers during parent-teacher meetings organised under Shiksha Kranti programme at Government Senior Secondary Schools of Chanan Khera, Malook Pura, Kera Khera and Gobindgarh villages in Abohar. Sidhu said that it is the responsibility of both parents and teachers to give proper education to children and make them good citizens. He said that parents and teachers can share information about the child’s learning level and habits with each other, which will help in the progress of the student. Deputy Commissioner Amarpreet Kaur Sandhu, SDM Krishan Pal Rajput and District Education Officer Brij Mohan Singh Bedi were present on the occasion.
