Body of minor boy found in Mahanadi River in Cuttack
Cuttack: In a tragic incident the body of a minor boy was found floating in the River Mahanandi in Cuttack of Odisha on Tuesday. The body was found floating in the Mahanadi water near Kaliaboda crematorium in Jobra area of the silver city.
The deceased minor boy has been identified as 13 year old Gateshwar Ojha in Mangalabag area.
As per reports, the boy had set out from home yesterday afternoon to witness a cricket match that was going on at the Netaji playground in Potapokhari area of Cuttack. He was missing since 3 pm on Monday.
After the locals found the body floating in the Mahanadi River today, they informed Police. After getting information Malgodown Police rushed to the spot. By the time this report was written, the operation to fish out the body from the River water was going on. Police probe of the matter is underway.
