In the above destruction process, in compliance with the order of the Central Government, Home Ministry, Narcotics Control Bureau, the high-level drug disposal committee constituted by the Police Headquarters was conducted by Raipur district in the presence of Deputy Inspector General of Police and Senior Superintendent of Police Dr. Lal Umed Singh (Chairman), Additional Superintendent of Police Kirtan Rathore, Deputy Commissioner of Excise Ramkrishna Mishra members. In the destruction process done today, a total of 989.600 kg of ganja in 57 NDPS cases of Raipur district was destroyed by burning it in the furnace of the power plant located in Silatra, Raipur, after permission from the Environment Department, keeping in mind the safety of the general public.
