Hyderabad: One person arrested for making adulterated engine oil

Hyderabad: The team of Task Force (South) in collaboration with Mirchowk police on Friday nabbed a man for manufacturing adulterated engine oil and selling it to automobile lubricant dealers. The officials seized around 710 litres of adulterated engine oil worth Rs 3 lakh. Police said the suspect Sheikh Qayyum of Feelkhana in Begum Bazar, who earlier worked at an automobile shop, gained knowledge in the automobile sector. As his earnings seemed to be low, he decided to manufacture adulterated oil under popular brand names and sell it in the markets. Following a tip-off, his warehouse was raided and he was arrested.
