Chief Minister will inaugurate Ambedkar Marriage Hall on January 29: Minister Shekhar Babu
Tamil Nadu: Minister P.K. Sekhar Babu said that Chief Minister M.K. Stalin will inaugurate the Ambedkar Wedding Hall built in Chennai’s Thiru V.K. Nagar Assembly constituency on January 29.
A new community welfare center is being constructed by the CMDA under the North Chennai Development Project on Chandrayogi Samadhi Road, Thiru V.K. Nagar Assembly constituency, Perambur, Greater Chennai Corporation. Similarly, Murasolimaran Park near Perambur Railway Station is being improved. In addition, modern laundries are being constructed at Kanikapuram Sports Ground and Purasaivakkam Conradsmith Road.
Hindu Religious and Endowments Minister and Chairman of the Chennai Metropolitan Development Authority, P.K. Sekhar Babu, personally inspected the work on Monday. He advised the contractor and officials to complete the work quickly and make it available for public use.
Following this, Minister P.K. On Wednesday (January 21), Sekhar Babu inspected preparations for the inauguration of 776 new apartments near the Stanley Government Hospital in Ezhukinaru.
He then informed reporters that the CMDA is building a 30,000-square-foot wedding hall in the Thiru V.K. Nagar Assembly constituency. The hall, named the ‘Annal Ambedkar Wedding Hall,’ will be inaugurated by Chief Minister M.K. Stalin on January 29.
The hall fee has been fixed at ₹75,000. He added that electricity and cleaning services will be charged separately.
Earlier, when asked about Governor R.N. Ravi’s allegation that Tamil Nadu is lagging behind in investment, Minister Sekhar Babu said that Governor R.N. Ravi’s theory is backward, while Tamil Nadu is always moving forward.
