Food Inspector’s photo with pistol went viral, got suspended today itself

Raipur. Food Inspector Rajesh Vishwas, posted in Kanker district, is in discussion about his exploits. Today, the collector has suspended taking major action. Now the photo of Rajesh Vishwas is becoming increasingly viral in the social media.

On receiving the report, the Collector has suspended Vishwas Food Inspector, Pakhanjur with immediate effect. It has been mentioned in the suspension order that by misusing his position to find his mobile, without the permission of the competent authority, wasting lakhs of liters of water from Paralkot reservoir in the scorching heat, is indicative of his indecent conduct, which is unacceptable. As the said act is contrary to the provisions of the Chhattisgarh Civil Services (Classification, Control and Appeal) Rules, 1966, he is suspended with immediate effect. During the period of suspension, the headquarters of Food Inspector Rajesh Vishwas will be the District Office, Food Branch, Kanker and during the period of suspension, subsistence allowance will be payable as per rules.
