Attempted rape of a girl child, villagers beat up the accused

Mohla. A case of brutality with a 9-year-old girl has come to light in Mohla. The drunken youth who reached the village for the wedding ceremony had made the innocent girl a victim of lust. Meanwhile, the villagers caught the accused and beat him fiercely, after which the police was informed about the incident. As soon as the information was received, the Mohla police registered the case and took the accused into custody.

Ambagarh outpost SDOP Arjun Kurre told that the accused Chetan Kureti, a resident of Chihkatola of Mohla police station area, has executed the incident. This matter is being reported on 28 May. Actually, the minor girl had come with her relatives to attend a wedding ceremony in her own village. Then the accused Chetan Kureti tried to rape the girl by seducing her, as soon as the girl’s friend saw all this, she informed the family members and villagers with immediate effect, after which misdeeds were committed at the scene. The accused Chetan Kureti was caught and thrashed, the villagers informed the Mohla police, the team of Mohla police station reached the village and took the accused into custody and sections 363-IPC, 376-IPC, 511-IPC, 7 Registering a case under CHL, 8-CHL, the accused has been sent to jail.
