Woman inspector assaulted, case registered against relatives
Bilaspur. Durgavati Sharma, a female inspector living in the CSEB colony of Sirgitti police station, was assaulted. His daughter-in-law quarreled with him and beat him up. On the other hand, daughter-in-law Sujata Sharma has also complained of assault against him.
The police have registered offenses against each other in both the cases. Inspector Durgavati Sharma told the police that she was doing her duty. Meanwhile, his mother-in-law Vimla Sharma called and said that daughter-in-law Sujata Sharma has come home and is abusing us after arguing with us.
When she came back home, she saw that her daughter-in-law Sujata Sharma was thrashing her sister’s daughter Babli Tiwari by her hair. He has also been assaulted. On the other hand, Sujata Sharma also told in her report that she was beaten up by grandmother-in-law Vimla Sharma and sister-in-law Babli Tiwari. In both the cases the police have registered offenses under sections 294, 323, 506.
