NIA raids 10 locations in Punjab, Haryana

New Delhi (IANS) | The National Investigation Agency (NIA) is raiding 10 locations of people associated with the Khalistani organization in Punjab and Haryana on Tuesday. Sources said that raids are being conducted at nine hideouts in Punjab and one in Haryana belonging to Khalistan Tiger Force.

The search operation is being carried out to unearth terrorist conspiracies hatched by the Khalistani extremist organisation, raising funds for cross-border terrorist activities, smuggling of arms and explosives, the source said.

At present, the NIA has not given any official statement in this matter.
