Kochia arrested for selling illegal liquor
Balod. Kochia, who sells illegal liquor under Ranchirai area, has been arrested. According to the information, the police got information that near village Haransinghi Chowk, a person is illegally transporting liquor by keeping it for sale.
On the information, a team was formed under the guidance of Superintendent of Police Jitendra Kumar Yadav and under the supervision of Additional Superintendent of Police Harish Rathore, Police Sub-Divisional Officer Gundardehi Geeta Wadhwani and under the leadership of Station House Officer Sub-Inspector Yaman Kumar Dewangan, and after laying siege to the spot, the accused Sitaram Mandavi’s father Jagdish Mandavi was caught. From whose possession 32 pints of country plain liquor has been seized. After taking further action, the police produced the accused before the court and sent him on judicial remand.
