Tree fell on passenger bus, driver injured
Raipur. A tree fell on a moving bus on Jagdalpur-Raipur National Highway 30. The glass of the bus was shattered in the accident. The driver has received minor injuries. However, a major accident has been averted. Here, after this accident, the road was blocked for about one to one and a half hours. Forest team removed the tree and restored the road. The case is of Bhanpuri police station area.
According to information, the weather changed in Bastar district on Wednesday. Strong winds blew in Bhanpuri area. Meanwhile, when a passenger bus going from Jagdalpur to Raipur reached near Sonarpal, suddenly a tree fell on the moving bus. The front glass of the bus was shattered in the accident. However, other passengers on board the bus are safe. After the accident, somehow all the passengers were brought down.
Then the news of the accident was given to the police and forest department. The road was also blocked due to the accident in the middle of the road. There was a long queue of vehicles on both sides. The team that reached the spot removed the tree after hard work of about 1 to 1.5 hours. After the jam opened, all the vehicles were taken out.
