Two accused of cheating crores escaped by jumping from a moving train
Bilaspur. Two accused of cheating crores have escaped by jumping from a moving train. After arresting them from Jharkhand, the Mumbai Police was taking the accused to Maharashtra by train. A case under section 420, 66 has been registered against the accused in Mumbai’s Borivali police station. The Mumbai Police has now lodged a complaint with the GRP.
According to the information received from the police, Head constable Vijay Jadhav, posted at Borivali Mumbai police station, along with his team had gone to Barduwa Palajori in Jharkhand to arrest the accused in the cheating case. Here, with the help of the Jharkhand police team, the Mumbai police arrested three accused Samasudheen, Kalam and Hussain Ali. Mumbai Police was going to Maharashtra by 12262 Duronto Express after taking transit remand of the arrested accused from Madhupur Court. The train reached Bilaspur railway station in the early hours, meanwhile the train started leaving the platform. Accused Samsudheen and Kalam Ali talked about going to the washroom. Then, while opening the handcuffs to take them to the washroom, both the accused jolted the police and jumped in the opposite direction of the train.
The train had picked up speed, so both the accused managed to escape. Here, the head constable of Mumbai Police has lodged a complaint in the GRP. On receiving the diary from Raipur, GRP Bilaspur registered an offense under section 224 and started investigation in the matter.
