LIC’s Dhansu scheme, invest only once, will get pension every month
Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC), the country’s largest government life insurance company, has policies for every age group. LIC has many schemes related to pension after the age of 60 years, but how about you start getting pension from the age of 40 itself. LIC runs a similar scheme for its customers. This is LIC’s simple pension scheme (LIC Saralpension yojana). The special thing is that in this scheme you can avail pension from the age of 40 years.
The age limit for the scheme is 40-80 years
LIC’s Saral Pension Plan is an immediate annuity plan. In this, you start getting pension as soon as you take the policy. You will have to pay the premium only once while purchasing the policy under this plan. If the policy buyer dies due to any reason, then his deposit amount is returned to his nominee. The minimum age for this scheme is 40 years and the maximum age is 80 years. You can take this scheme alone or together with husband and wife. The policyholder can surrender this policy anytime after 6 months from inception.
Single Life and Joint Account
The benefit of Saral Pension Yojana can be availed in two ways. First single life and second joint life. As long as the policy holder continues to live a single life, he will continue to get the pension. After death the investment money will be returned to the nominee. Whereas both husband and wife are jointly involved. In this, pension is given till the life of the policyholder. After death, his spouse gets the benefit of pension. On the death of both, the deposited amount is given to the nominee.
Minimum 1000 rupees pension is available
Under Saral Pension Yojana, you can take a minimum monthly pension of Rs 1000 and there is no limit on the maximum pension. This pension depends on the amount of your investment. For pension, you get the option of monthly, quarterly, half-yearly and annual pension. If a 42-year-old person buys an annuity of Rs 30 lakh, he will get Rs 12,388 as pension every month.
