The accused who executed the vehicle theft incident arrested

Raipur. The accused Rupesh Deep alias Machhar, who carried out the vehicle theft incident, has been arrested. According to the police, Sangeeta Banerjee lodged a report in the police station Kotwali that she lives in Budhapara Raipur. The applicant had parked her two-wheeler Activa 4G in the courtyard of the house at around 10.00 pm on 13.07.2023 and went inside the house, woke up at 05.30 am and saw that her two-wheeler was not at the parked place. Some unknown thief had stolen the two wheeler of the applicant. On which crime number 304/23 Section 379 Bhadvi was registered against the unknown accused in Police Station Kotwali. Offense was registered.

Under the direction of senior officers and under the leadership of station in-charge Kotwali, the police team of police station Kotwali arrested the resident of Kotwali, Rupesh Deep alias Mosquito, involved in the case and arrested the stolen Activa from his possession. Action was taken against the accused by seizing vehicle number CG/04/LY/7704 worth about Rs 40,000/-. In the past also, in many cases of theft, the accused has remained against the jail from police station and Purani Basti.
