6,727 kg of seized drugs destroyed in Jammu
Jammu (IANS). As part of the nationwide drive to destroy seized drugs, 6,727 kg of seized drugs were destroyed in Jammu. Officials gave this information on Monday.
“This was done as part of the overall campaign of ‘drug-free India’ in Jammu,” police said.
“The operation was led by Jammu Zone Additional Director General of Police Mukesh Singh and was attended by ANTF JK, NCB and JK police officers.”
Police said, “The narcotics were destroyed as per the procedure established by law. ADGP Jammu thanked the judiciary for wholeheartedly supporting the operation.”
