To make delicious sweet Mysore Pak, first sift the gram flour in a vessel. Now put desi ghee and oil in a pan and heat it on medium flame till the ghee melts. After this turn off the gas. Now to make sugar syrup, put sugar and half a cup of water in a vessel and heat it on medium flame. Meanwhile, while stirring continuously, let the sugar syrup cook for at least 5 minutes. After this, slow down the gas and mix about a quarter cup of gram flour in the sugar syrup.
Now keep stirring the gram flour until it mixes well in the sugar syrup and all the lumps of gram flour are gone. Similarly, put all the gram flour in sugar syrup in two-three times and let it cook while stirring continuously with a spoon like before. After cooking the mixture for 2-3 minutes, heat 1 tablespoon ghee-oil mixture in it and add it to the gram flour-sugar mixture and keep stirring until all the oil-ghee mixture gets absorbed.
Similarly, following the process four to five times, put all the oil in the gram flour mixture and mix it. When all the mixture of oil-ghee gets mixed in gram flour-sugar, the mixture will become frothy. Now take a plate or tray and grease it by applying some ghee on its bottom. Now pour the prepared gram flour mixture in the tray and spread it evenly all around. Now let the mixture cool for 10 minutes. After this, cut its pieces with the help of a knife. Delicious Mysore Pak is ready. You can serve it after it cools down completely.
