Father sentenced to life imprisonment for raping his minor daughter
Bijapur. In the district, a father has been sentenced to life imprisonment for raping his minor daughter. Kept raping a 13-year-old girl repeatedly. When she became pregnant, they got her aborted by giving her injections and tablets. However, the wife of the accused and the mother of the minor reported the matter to the police. The matter reached the court. On the other hand, the court of ADJ Shailesh Sharma of Dantewada’s fast track court sentenced the accused to life imprisonment.
This whole matter is of Bijapur district. Here a 13-year-old innocent girl was studying in a hostel away from her family members. The girl student’s mother said that her husband Pandu Bhogami (46) had brought their daughter from the hostel to their home a few months ago. Here he forcefully started having physical relations with her by threatening her. This continued for some days continuously.
Meanwhile, the student became pregnant. When the accused came to know about this, he got her injected and got her aborted by giving medicine. The victim had informed about this to her mother and grandfather. When the girl’s mother and grandfather came to know about this, they went straight to the police to get justice for the daughter and got the case registered. Police investigated the matter by registering an FIR and arrested the accused father Pandu. The matter reached the fast track court of Dantewada. Here the court of ADJ Shailesh Sharma sentenced the accused Pandu Bhogami to life imprisonment.
