Ambikapur. A 17-year-old girl died during treatment at a private hospital. After the death of the girl, the relatives created a ruckus in the hospital. The relatives accused the victim of transfusing blood of the wrong blood group. After which he died due to deteriorating health. In the case, the police have spoken of action after the PM’s report.
According to the information received, the victim, a resident of Vadrafnagar in Balrampur district, was brought to Ekta Hospital in Ambikapur after he developed fever. The doctors offered blood to the dead girl after informing about the lack of blood in her body. After this, the girl’s health deteriorated, after which the doctors gave injections and medicines for treatment and the girl died. Angered by the death of the girl child, the relatives started creating ruckus accusing the hospital of negligence. The relatives alleged that the girl was given blood of the wrong group due to which her health deteriorated and the girl died. On the matter, the hospital management says that the girl was given blood of the right group. At the same time, the doctors told that the girl died due to vomiting in the lungs.
