Bihar: Farmers are getting mangoes and many other plants for Rs 10, just have to do this work
Shocking news has emerged for the farmers from Bihar’s East Champaran environment, while there is good news for the people associated with East Champaran conservation and tree plantation. Saplings are being distributed by the Forest Department by setting up stalls and in mobile vehicles for just Rs.10. It has plants of Champa, Mahogany, Bael, Lemon, Mango etc. Along with this, a stall has been set up at the collectorate gate at Gandhi Maidan, Motihari, where you can buy plants from 11 am to 5 pm. Regarding this, DFO Rajkumar Sharma told that, “Plant sales center has been opened for the convenience of the farmers, due to which there is some relief to the farmers.”
Along with this, DFO Rajkumar Sharma told that, “Students can take two to five plants for free by showing their ID cards, while if any NGO or social worker organization wants, they can apply and take plants for free.” Along with this, he told that, at present, about eight lakh plants above 4 feet are present in better condition in the nursery of the Forest Department. If the farmers want, they can buy those plants and plant them in their land. If any kind of technical assistance is required in this, the Forest Department is ready to help the farmers.

Along with this, let us tell you that Umesh Prasad Srivastava, who is running this stall at the gate of Motihari Collectorate, told that maximum 05 plants are being given to each person here. The plants available here include – Mango, Lemon, Guava, Amla, Mahogany, Jamun, Champa, Bael, Sitaphal, Teak.
