Fire in book depot, incident happened due to short circuit

Kondagaon. A fierce fire broke out in the book depot near Farsgaon Hospital Chowk in the district. The flames were so strong that a nearby book shop caught fire. Police and fire brigade team reached the spot on the information of the incident of arson. The fire was brought under control after a lot of effort. Goods worth lakhs of rupees have been gutted in this incident. The cause of the fire is said to be a short circuit.

According to information, a fire broke out at Danteshwari Book Depot located at Farsgaon Hospital Chowk at 3 am today due to short circuit. Due to which copies, books, plastic and stationery items worth lakhs of rupees kept in the book depot were burnt to ashes. On information about arson, the fire was brought under control with the help of police, fire brigade, town panchayat and local villagers. At the same time, the fire also engulfed a book shop located next to the depot. There is a possibility of burning lakhs of rupees in the book shop also.
