Change in syllabus and exam pattern of +2 in Odisha informs CHSE
Bhubaneswar: The +2 pattern of exam and the syllabus has changed informed the Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE), Odisha on Tuesday.
Some chapters of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology of the +2 science departments have been omitted.
A notification in this regard has been published by the Council Higher Secondary Education Council (CHSE). The new syllabus related information is available on CHSE website. The Council has further informed that the 2024 +2 council exam will be as per the new syllabus.
In all other subjects of Science, Arts and Commerce stream the children will appear for the examination according to the previous syllabus. However, the new syllabus will be taught for the students of 11 th or +2 first year who have taken mathematics as a subject.
12th or +2 second year students will appear for the exam according to the old syllabus. The board said that information about the courses scheduled for +2 vocational children will be given soon on the official website of the Council.
It is also worth mentioning that instead of three quarterly exams, there will be 2 internal exams. Students will get marks on the basis of 80% marks in the second year council examination and 20% marks in the internal examination. Higher Secondary Education Council has published a detailed notification in this regard.
