From Ayushmann to ‘Ayushwoman’, the actor aspires to be nominated in the Best Actress category as well!

Mumbai (IANS). Bollywood actor Ayushmann Khurrana, who is gearing up for his upcoming film ‘Dream Girl 2’, has shared that while the audience has loved him as Ayushmann, they will also see the ‘Ayushwoman’ in him with his new film. Would like it.

Recently while talking to the media at the trailer launch of the film, the actor said that working on the film is a great experience for him as an actor.

In the film, Ayushmann plays a guy named Karam who has a loan of lakhs. To repay that loan, he turns into ‘Pooja’ and from here the comedy begins.

Speaking about the experience of playing a female lead, the actor said, “It was challenging as we shot in 45 degree Celsius, as I said in the film, I was ‘all set’, such extreme heat. I was tested as an actor by wearing a wig.

He further said, “I hope people will like Ayushwoman apart from Ayushmann. I also want to say that this time during the award season, I want to be nominated in the Best Actress category as well.”

‘Dream Girl 2’ also stars Ananya Panday, Abhishek Banerjee, Rajpal Yadav, Annu Kapoor and Paresh Rawal. It is directed by Raaj Shaandilyaa and is a sequel to Ayushmann’s 2019 superhit film ‘Dream Girl’.

The film was earlier scheduled to release in July but is now hitting the theaters on August 25.
