3 arrested for looting girl student in Jajpur of Odisha
Jajpur: The Kuakhia police station of Jajpur district has arrested three youths on the charge of robbing a girl student, said reports on Monday. A bike, four mobile phones, bags, money purses and money was recovered from them.
According to the available information, when Saudamini Das was returning from college in Gobindpatna village, three youths came on a bike and stopped her near Gopalpur Street and snatched away her bag.
The local people managed to catch hold of one person near Kuakhia over bridge while two others managed to escape.
As the students mobile was looted, the police tracked them down and arrested them. Srikanth Barik the officer of Kuakhia police station had registered a case and arrested three youths and forwarded them in court.
