Aunt was murdered by minor nephew, arrested along with maternal uncle
Mungeli. Explaining the mystery of the murder of a woman last Sunday under the Fasterpur police station of the district, the police have arrested her minor nephew and maternal uncle. On Sunday, Ram Yadav, owner of Shuklabhatha, Vicharpur, wrote a report in the police station that at 3 pm: At 00 o’clock he went to Setganga market to get vegetables and ration. During this his wife Kumari Bai was alone at home. When he returned at 7:00 in the evening, the wife was lying on the ground in a blood-soaked dead state. Police started investigation after registering the FIR. He came to know from the villagers that the nephew of the deceased living in Mungeli was seen in the village around 4:00 pm on Sunday.
When the police interrogated him in custody, he confessed to the murder. The minor in conflict with the accused law told that his father had died some time back and a few days later the first child of the sister-in-law had also died. He feared that Aunt Kumari Bai had killed him by practicing witchcraft. Because of this, he reached Shukla Bhatha with maternal uncle Radhey Yadav on his bike on the day of the incident with the intention of killing him. When found alone at home there, he attacked and killed his aunt with a sharp knife. During this his maternal uncle was waiting outside the house on a bike. After the incident, both returned from the bike itself. The police have produced the nephew accused of murder in the Juvenile Court, while the other accused Radhey Yadav was arrested and presented in the court, from where he was sent to jail.
