Liquor scam accused Trilok Singh Dhillon gets interim bail
Bilaspur. A hearing was held in the High Court in the alleged liquor scam case in Chhattisgarh. Trilok Singh Dhillon and Nitesh Purohit have got relief from the High Court. Both the accused have got interim bail. The accused have got the benefit of stay in the entire case from the Supreme Court. The case was heard in a single bench of Justice Deepak Tiwari. Earlier, Anwar Dhebar, arrested in the liquor scam case, got interim bail from the Bilaspur High Court. Anwar Dhebar got bail on medical grounds. The court of Justice Deepak Tiwari of Bilaspur HC had given relief.
Please tell that the Enforcement Directorate (ED) had presented the charge sheet in the special court of Raipur in the past. The charge sheet was in relation to the liquor scam exposed by the ED in the state. A charge sheet of 13,000 pages was brought to the court. The documents had reached the court in a big box.
Businessman Anwar Dhebar, Trilok Dhillon and AP Tripathi, who was an officer in the Excise Department, were said to be the masterminds of the liquor scam. It was told in these documents that these people together misused the government system and carried out massive corruption.
It is also mentioned in the charge sheet that these rupees were also distributed with some political partners. In the 13,000-page charge sheet, there are details of the working of the liquor scam syndicate, from WhatsApp chats between businessmen and officials.
