Gun of bank security guard goes off, 3 injured in Rourkela of Odisha

Rourkela: A security guard accidentally shot three people at a bank in Rourkela of Sundargarh district in Odisha on Thursday, said reports.

The Rajgangpur Daily Market ICICI Bank saw an unfortunate incident today. An inadvertent shot from the security guard’s gun injured three persons.
When the box filled with money fell on the gun, the gun went off. Three people, including a woman, were seriously injured.

The three injured people have been admitted to the health care center. The security guard is being detained and questioned by the police.

An investigation has been started into the circumstances under which the security guard’s gun was inadvertently fired. Details awaited.
