Karnataka Police uncovers TikTok star murder case, 8 detained

Mysore (IANS). Karnataka Police has solved the case of kidnapping and murder of a Bengaluru TikTok star. Eight people have been detained in this connection.

The incident occurred within the limits of Nanjangud rural police station in Mysuru district. Initial investigation revealed that the kidnapping and murder were an act of revenge. Police have detained a relative of a former Bengaluru councilor and his associates.

Naveen was involved in the murder of a man named Vinod, a TikTok star. The incident took place in the Kaggalipura police station limits of Bengaluru. Naveen was lodged in jail and came out on bail.

He made videos and became a TikTok star. On August 27, the deceased was in Mysore with two young women when he was abducted by a gang of miscreants.

Police said Naveen was making reels in front of the famous historic Mysuru palace when miscreants who came in a car abducted him. His body was later found in the Goluru channel near Nanjangud. Police said the main accused is the nephew of a former corporator who has good contacts with political leaders.

Police is yet to make an official announcement regarding the arrest/custody of the accused persons. Further investigation is on.
