Woman’s suspicious death, daughter-in-law and son arrested
Durg: The dead body of an 80-year-old woman has been found in Shakti Nagar under Mohan Nagar police station in the district. There are deep injury marks on the woman’s body. It is feared that the woman has been murdered. The woman’s younger son and daughter-in-law were present at the time of the murder. The police have arrested them on the basis of suspicion. The police is investigating the case.
Police reached the spot on information that a woman was found lying in a pool of blood from Ambedkar’s residence in Shakti Nagar area. The woman has been identified as Rukhmani Chandrakar. After taking information, it was found that the incident was carried out in the early hours of Monday. Earlier on Sunday late night, the woman had a lot of quarrel with her son-daughter-in-law.
Since the son and daughter-in-law did not give the correct reason for the death of the old man, the police arrested him for questioning. TI says that he has started the investigation by establishing a route. It is being said that the injury to the woman has come from a fall. The cause of death will be known after the PM report.
