4 year old girl raped and murdered in UP

Farrukhabad (IANS). A four-year-old girl was raped and murdered in Farrukhabad district of Uttar Pradesh. Police said one person has been arrested and a juvenile detained in connection with the crime.

According to the police, the victim was playing outside her house on Wednesday when she went missing.

His family members along with the local people searched and later spotted a pack of dogs in a nearby field.

She was found there in the fields, after which the police were informed and the identity of the child was confirmed.

A senior police officer said rape was confirmed after the forensic investigation into the case was completed.

Meanwhile, the family members of the minor raised suspicion on a young man and held him responsible for this act.

When the police interrogated the accused after being taken into custody, he confessed to his crime.

He told that he had seen the girl roaming in a field, from where he along with one of his minor accomplices took the girl to another field and raped her.

The accused told the police that they later killed him and threw the body in the field.
