After this, Rupesh was murdered by strangulating him with his own shirt and by hitting him in the neck with a piece of liquor bottle.
Due to fear of being caught, they hid the body, liquor bottles and shirt of the deceased in the bushes near the spot of the incident and kept the motorcycle and mobile phone of the deceased with themselves. On which, under the leadership of police station in-charge Bodhghat Inspector Kavita Dhurve, at the behest of accused Rishit Singh, the body of deceased Rupesh Singh was recovered from the bushes near the incident site and at the behest of the accused, liquor bottles, soda bottles, water bottles, disposable glasses were recovered. , chips wrapper, a pair of slippers of the deceased, shirt of the deceased, mobile of the deceased, motor cycle, broken number plate and other evidence were recovered and seized.
The family identified the dead body, shirt, slippers, mobile and motorcycle. Accused Rishit Singh was arrested after he confessed to the murder and hiding the body in the bushes.
