Ghaziabad: A two-storey dilapidated house collapsed with a bang in Rupnagar Industrial Area located in Loni Kotwali area of Ghaziabad. Police have rescued a total of 7 people buried under the debris. There is news of death of a girl in the hospital. DCP Vivek Chandra Yadav said that information about house collapse was received around 11 am on Saturday morning. Rescue was started by immediately sending police force. In this, cooperation of nearby people was also taken. Within some time, 7 people were pulled out from the debris. There were women, men and children also in it. He was taken to the nearest hospital. From here some were also referred to higher centres. Death of a girl has been reported from the Higher Centre. The reasons for the incident are being investigated.
On inquiring the people nearby, they heard a loud bang. After which this accident happened. According to the information received so far, a person named Shakeel had taken the house on rent. Shakeel’s entire family lived in it. Women and children from nearby areas also came here daily to work. No one is aware of what work was done. It is suspected that the work of making firecrackers was done. Police is investigating. During the rescue operation, Shakeel’s wife Mavis (35), daughter Alshifa (9), daughter Alisha (14), Imran (16), son Javed, Syeda (30), a girl and a woman were rescued and sent to the hospital.
