Manendragarh: First successful treatment of club foot in new district
Manendragarh: A congenitally deformed child who was suffering from a disease called club foot was brought by the team of RBS to the Community Health Center of Manedragarh, Chirmiri Bharatpur. Meaning of Club Foot in Hindi is – Foot bent inward since birth. It is also called talipes. This birth defect can affect one or both legs. This case was of a poor family of village Chuul of Janakpur Janpad Panchayat. He was successfully treated and plastered by Dr. Prakash Jaiswal and his colleagues at the Community Health Center, Manendragarh. Perhaps it gave a new life to the children. So that he will be able to lead a normal life in future.
This is an initial achievement for this new district. Chief Medical and Health Officer Dr. also aims to take such cases more seriously in future. Directed by S.S. Singh. District Program Manager Suleman Khan has informed his officers and employees that if any such case comes to our district, then the concerned employees should immediately bring them to the Community Health Center Manendragarh and get them trained and treated.
