Car fell into ditch, one teacher along with 3 children serious
Almora (IANS). A road accident occurred near Tatik Road in Almora district of Uttarakhand. In the accident, a car crashed and fell into a ditch. A teacher and 7 students were sitting in the car. The students in the car that fell into the ditch were going to participate in a sports competition. A total of 4 people have been seriously injured in the accident, in which 3 children including a teacher are seriously injured.
As soon as the information about the road accident was received, the local people reached the spot. People immediately informed the police about the school children’s car falling into the ditch. After reaching the incident site, the police started the rescue operation with the help of local people. All the injured were taken out of the ditch.
The injured were immediately taken to Almora Base Hospital. Top officials of the education department also reached the spot. All the children are from Government Primary School, Thatha Mathina. All were going to Kherda to participate in the cluster level sports competition. School headmaster Prakash Joshi himself was driving the car. Suddenly, while giving pass to another vehicle, the car filled with school children fell into a ditch.
