Man arrested for unnatural sex with minor boy

Panaji (IANS). Goa Police on Thursday arrested a man for allegedly having unnatural sex with an 11-year-old boy. The accused is a neighbor of the victim.

Police said that the incident happened on Wednesday night. The accused, a welder by profession, took the minor boy some distance away from his house and sexually assaulted him. The 22-year-old accused is a native of Bihar.

Police further said that preliminary investigation has revealed that the accused has done such an act with the victim for the first time. The boy informed his family about the matter, after which they lodged a complaint with the police.

The police have registered a case against the accused under relevant sections of the IPC, Goa Juvenile Act and POCSO Act.
