Working in ‘Jawaan’ is like a dream come true: Ejaz Khan
Mumbai: Actor Ejaz Khan, who acted in superstar Shahrukh Khan’s ‘Jawaan’, said that working in this film is like a dream come true. The actor described it as an “incredible chapter” in his career.
Talking about the film ‘Jawaan’, actor Ejaz Khan said, “It was very surreal and like a dream come true. It was truly an incredible chapter in my acting career. I just want to say that all those Thank you for making me a part of this big project.”
On getting the role in the film, Ejaz Khan said, “I think more than anything it was a blessing that it came suddenly. I didn’t audition for it. It fell into my lap. A producer friend of mine called and asked if I would like to do something like this. I said absolutely.”
The actor said, “Then he asked me the measurements of my dress and sent the picture to director Atlee Kumar, he approved it and we started shooting the very next day. It seems as if this film was written in my destiny.
Ejaz, who dances with Shahrukh Khan in his live shows, respects the superstar a lot.
The actor said, “The stardom was very clear when I faced the camera with Shahrukh on the first day. But all your experience comes in handy and you come into auto mode, you have to concentrate on your scene. In a particular scene with Shahrukh Khan, I had to focus on many other factors besides the moving camera.
During the screening, Ejaz also shared an incident that happened with King Khan.
The actor said, “There was a screening of ‘Jawaan’, which has a special place in my heart. When Shahrukh sir went to the party, he remembered that he had promised me a photograph. After the screening I asked him, ‘Sir, I have known you for many years but never asked you anything. But today I want to take a picture with you.
Ejaz said, “He came to me and hugged me and asked someone to take our pictures. He said that ‘Jawaan’ will be successful because of our prayers and love. I hugged him back and told him how much we loved him and that he should take care of himself. I thanked him for making me a part of it. (IANS).
