Payal Lath, founder of Payal Ek Naya Savera Foundation, was honored with the Agarwal Ratna in a program organized by Agarwal Samaj. Let us tell you that Payal is the first woman in the society to receive the Agarwal Ratna at the youngest age. After receiving the honour, Payal said that I am very happy that I was born in such a prestigious Agarwal society, where women are being encouraged to come forward and work for the society. I give the credit for this to Dadaji Bhagwati Prasad Bajaj whom I have seen educating poor children since childhood.
I give it to my late father Vijay Kumar Bajaj, brothers Vikas and Vishal and sister Pooja Kandoi, who always raised me not as a daughter but as a son, made me fearless and always encouraged me to move ahead. He became my strength and stood by me in my difficult times and kept encouraging me. Always encouraged me to move forward in every situation. My husband Shabd Prakash Lath and children Tavish and Rajveer always encourage me in social service. He has expressed gratitude to the President of Aggarwal Mahasabha, Chairman of the Youth Committee, Chairman of the Women Committee Uma Chhaparia and all the committee members for his honour. Payal Lath has been dedicated to social service in Bilaspur for a long time. She is providing admission to many poor children in schools and bearing all the expenses of their education. They are helping the needy to earn their livelihood by providing e-rickshaws and sewing machines to women.
