It was difficult to prove the guilt of the accused who committed 16 murders, this is how the case was solved

Uttar Pradesh. The High Court said that according to the statement of Surendra Koli, he used to reach an ‘automatic state’ while committing 16 murders. He would lure the victims, bring them into the house, kill them, have sex, dismember the bodies, cook and eat them, put the remains in bags, and even flush them down the drain, but during these 16 incidents no one knocked at the door of the house, This all sounds very strange. He did not fail even once in these 16 incidents.
The High Court said that according to the statement of the accused, he used to commit murders in Kothi number D-5 and in the forensic investigation, no traces of blood were found there. Koli was arrested on 29 December 06. For the next 60 consecutive days, he was kept in custody by the UP Police and then the CBI. On March 07, he gave a confessional statement. The statement of the accused, who had studied till seventh standard, came under suspicious circumstances.

The defense lawyers reached a fair decision. The High Court praised the lawyers of Koli and Moninder Singh Pandher. The court said that the Nithari case was so heavy and there were so many documents that even this court could have made a mistake in discharging its duties, but the defense lawyers helped the court reach a fair decision.
