Bus met with an accident near the bridge, 30 passengers were on board

Kondagaon: Near Muktidham Narangi River at around 1 o’clock in the night, Payal Company’s bus went out of control and overturned. More than 30 passengers were traveling in the bus during the incident. The passengers injured in the incident have been sent to the district hospital with the help of ambulance. Women and children are also included among the injured. However, no serious injury to anyone was visible at the initial stage. CRPF 188, City Kotwali and traffic police personnel were seen reaching the spot and helping the injured.

Payal company’s bus had left from Bailadila to Durg. As soon as the bus reached near Narangi River bridge of Kondagaon on NH 30, it went out of control and overturned. After overturning, the bus got dragged into a pit near the bridge. According to the passengers, there were more than 30 passengers including women and children in the bus at the time of the accident. CRPF 188, City Kotwali and traffic police personnel immediately reached the spot and safely rescued the people trapped in the bus. The injured were sent to the district hospital with the help of ambulance. At present the cause of the accident is unknown, Kotwali police is taking further action on the matter.
