Diwali bonus transfer, these employees are in trouble

Bilaspur: SECL has given Diwali gift to its employees. The company has paid a bonus (performance linked reward) of Rs 85,000 to each employee. A total amount of Rs 278 crore has been transferred to the accounts of employees working in the company headquarters and various operational areas. Last year, a bonus of Rs 76 thousand 500 was paid to the employees by SECL. Thus, this year’s bonus has increased by 11 percent.

In the year 2010, employees received Rs 17,000 as bonus and the bonus of employees has increased 5 times in the last 12 years. Two lakh 17 thousand 429 employees are employed in Coal India Co. An amount of more than Rs 1800 crore will be distributed among these employees. A meeting was recently held in New Delhi to decide the bonus of the workers of Singareni Collieries Company Limited including Coal India and its subsidiary companies. Coal India management and union representatives were present in it. Happiness is being seen among all the employees after getting bonus before Diwali.
