Crowd of hundreds of people is gathering in talk show

Bhilai. In view of the establishment of the Regional Center of Lalit Kala Akademi under the Union Ministry of Culture, Government of India, the talk shows being conducted by the artists are getting unprecedented response from the people. Hundreds of spectators gathered at the Civic Center Krishna Arjun Rath complex on Sunday evening to see the graphics art of Bhilai’s budding painter Sarika Goswami. During this period, 12 artists were also honored with the National Artist Award.

Let it be known that artists from India and abroad have gathered on one platform for the establishment of the Regional Center of Lalit Kala Academy in Bhilai. To thank Bhilai Steel Plant and Lalit Kala Academy New Delhi, he has started a talk show program to exhibit and interact with artists. Under this,

art exhibition and discussion on personality’s work is being organized every week in the open premises of Civic Center Krishna Arjun Rath. In this series, an exhibition of graphics art of Bhilai’s talented painter Sarika was organized in the platform of the chariot.

These paintings, made with painstaking work like etching, give the feel of printed posters. Seeing which the spectators were astonished as to what kind of painting it was. Sarika answered the curiosities of the audience very politely and also introduced everyone to the deep meanings hidden in her paintings. Till now such open talk shows were limited to metropolitan cities only.

But the presence of hundreds of spectators in Bhilai has paved the way for such exhibitions and their success in future. This shows how dedicated the people of Bhilai are towards art. During the talk show, special guest Acharya Mahesh Chandra Sharma and art critic Mohammad Zakir Hussain presented their views. He also honored Sarika with the National Artist Award. while efficiently conducting the stage, gave National Matparai Art award to Abhishek Sapan village Dumardih, Laleshwari Sahu and Narottam Sahu village Borsi, Shashikant Jangde village Dumardih, Fanish Gaikwad village Dundera, Archana Yadav village Mahkakhurd Rameshwari Yadav village Dumardih, Rashmi Dewangan village Nagpura,

Devaki Gandharva and Sauhadra Gandharva Borsi, Naresh Sapaha Ootai were invited for the National Artist Award and Ashok Dewangan was invited for the Kalapurodha Award. During this, famous sculptors Mohan Baral, Harisen, Brajesh Tiwari, Umakant Thakur, Manish Tamrakar, Gunjan, Dheeraj Sahu, litterateur Vikram Apna, Sanskar Bharti minister Hemant Sagdev, Prashant Kshirsagar, Ankush Dewangan and Khairagarh, Raipur, Durg were especially present on the stage. Many artists from Bhilai, Kodagaon along with a large number of spectators were present.
