Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge’s big statement after Akhilesh Yadav’s candidature
New Delhi: Samajwadi Party supremo Akhilesh Yadav had recently targeted the Congress party for not having an alliance in Madhya Pradesh. UP Congress President Ajay Rai along with Kamal Nath also answered this. Since then, the issue of seat sharing in the Indian alliance has become heated again. Congress party is now busy in damage control. Party’s national president Mallikarjun Kharge has said that first let the assembly elections of five states be held, after that there will be discussion on seat sharing in the India alliance for the Lok Sabha elections.
Speaking to news agency ANI in Karnataka, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge said, “Our people are working everywhere, we are hopeful that we will definitely win in five states. An anti-BJP wave has also come, people have become fed up. People are troubled by unemployment and inflation. The promises made by BJP were not kept. Karnataka was ignored by them.”
Kharge further claimed that people in Madhya Pradesh have a problem with Shivraj Singh Chouhan and people are speaking against him.
