Two youths who went for immersion died due to drowning in the pond
Udaipur. On Tuesday, on the occasion of Dussehra in Udaipur, two youths who had gone to immerse the idol of Mother Goddess died due to drowning in the pond. According to the police, Jitendra (22), son of Ghanshyam Singh and Rakesh (23), son of Sitaram, residents of Math Madri, had gone to Sukha Naka pond on Tuesday evening to immerse the idol of Mataji. Jitendra and Rakesh’s jewelery went into the water during idol immersion in front of Kheda Mata temple. Who died due to drowning. The people who came along tried to save him, but could not. On information, police force reached the spot.
The civil defense team was also immediately called to the spot. In which Prakash Rathod, Vijay Naqwal, Bhavani Shankar, Kapil Salvi, Harish Kalyan, Naresh Chaudhary etc. reached the spot. After about 2 hours of hard work, the bodies of both the youth were taken out. The police have kept the bodies of both of them in the MB Government Hospital mortuary. Where the post-mortem will be conducted and the body will be handed over to the family members.
