Demand to issue 4 percent DA and DR order before Diwali
Raipur. Provincial President of Indian State Pensioners Federation, Virendra Namdev, sent a message to Chief Secretary Amitabh Jain by tweeting through social media An order has been issued immediately and a request has been made to give gifts before Diwali.
It is further stated in the release that currently the code of conduct applicable for the Assembly elections 2023 is in force in the state and at this time the government of the current ruling political party in the state is not capable of taking decisions. In such a time, the responsibility of the head of the state is on you.
Therefore, the hope of the employees and pensioners of the state is on you that in these circumstances, you should take immediate action and correspond with the Election Commission for permission as per rules and after taking permission, order 4℅ DA/DR along with arrears from the Finance Department in the month of October itself to celebrate Diwali. Set an example by giving the gift of happiness to your employees.
Giving information in the release, Namdev has further said that DA/DR orders have been issued earlier also during the code of conduct in the state. Therefore, there is no possibility of any hindrance in this. Information has been received that Chief Secretary in the election state Rajasthan government has started an initiative in this direction. There, the news of the proceedings of giving bonus to the employees serving along with DA/DR has been published in the newspapers of Rajasthan.
There are many other states where there are no elections, including Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Orissa, where orders have already been issued, and orders are in the process of being issued in many states including Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Bihar, Jharkhand, Himachal, Punjab, Delhi, Maharashtra.
