Congress can take major action against its rebel MLAs
Balrampur: State Congress in-charge Kumari Shailaja, co-in-charge Chandan Yadav and Deputy CM TS Singhdev reached Balrampur today. During this, all three leaders participated in the program of nomination filing of Congress candidates. At the same time, sitting MLAs of both the assemblies of the district remained absent during the filing of nominations. Here, state in-charge Shailja said that at present Congress has 71 seats in the state and at some places the workers were demanding that new faces should be given a chance. Considering this, the party has distributed tickets. Regarding the two sitting MLAs who were angry, Kumari Shailja said that those who have loyalty towards the party should remain in the party. The state in-charge has claimed that Congress will form the government in the state again this time.
Actually, state Congress in-charge Kumari Shailaja, co-in-charge Chandan Yadav and Deputy CM TS Singhdev arrived at Balrampur to attend the program of nomination filing of Congress candidates. He participated in the nomination rally of Congress candidate Ajay Tirkey from Ramanujganj seat and Vijay Pankra, Congress candidate from Samri assembly seat. During this period, Congress’s sitting MLA from Ramanujganj and Samari assembly seats remained absent. Not only this, Congress demonstrated its strength by taking out a rally. Deputy CM TS Singhdev said that wherever candidates are filling nomination forms in Surguja division, it seems that I am contesting elections from there and Congress government is being formed again in Chhattisgarh including the entire Surguja division.
