Girl students opened fire in school premises, teacher and student injured

Kanpur. On Friday morning, two students escaped after firing at a teacher and a student in Bhajan Lal Group of Institution located in Chaubepur police station area. The police have admitted the injured to the hospital for treatment, where the condition of both is out of danger. Giving this information, Deputy Commissioner of Police West Vijay Dhull said that Aniket Yadav, a class XI student of Bhajan Lal Group of Institution, and his cousin shot school teacher Vikas Tiwari with a pistol and escaped. Due to firing in the school premises, teacher Vikas and class ninth student Akanksha Shukla got injured by bullets.

After the incident, an atmosphere of chaos prevailed in the school. The school administration immediately closed the school. On receiving information about firing in the school, Chaubepur police station in-charge reached the spot along with the police force. As soon as information about the incident was received, Deputy Commissioner of Police West Vijay Dhull and Police Commissioner Dr. R.K Swarnkar also reached the spot. The police sent the bullet injured student and teacher Vikas Tiwari to the hospital for treatment, where the condition of both is out of danger. Preliminary inquiry has revealed that teacher Vikas Tiwari had beaten Aniket Yadav with two sticks on Thursday, due to which today he opened fire on the teacher with the intention of taking revenge. At present, on the complaint of the victim, the police have registered a case against Aniket Yadav and his cousin and are searching for both of them.
