Chandra Grahan 2023 Updates: On the occasion of Sharad Purnima, the last lunar eclipse of the year is going to occur today i.e. Saturday, October 28 at 11:30 pm. This eclipse which is going to occur today will not be complete but partial, whose segments are being called lunar eclipse. This lunar eclipse will be visible in many countries of the world including India. The Sutak period of lunar eclipse has started from 4.05 pm. It is prohibited to do many things during the lunar eclipse.
The doors of all the famous temples of the country are closed
Today there will be a lunar eclipse on Sharad Purnima, it will be visible all over India. Sutak starts at 4 pm, 9 hours before the eclipse. In such a situation, the doors of temples have been closed. Worship will be done after the salvation of the eclipse. According to Pandit Kundan Bhardwaj, the lunar eclipse will last from 1:05 pm to 2:20 am today. The sutak of the eclipse will start from 4:00 pm. The doors of the temples will open after the eclipse and Abhishek puja will be done.
Acharya Satyendra Das, the chief archer of Ramlala, who is seated in the birthplace of Shri Ram, told that the sutak of the lunar eclipse will begin at 4 pm. Due to this, the doors of the temple will be opened in the second shift at 2 pm. After that, the temple will be closed after aarti-puja and bhog at 3.30 pm. Darshan will start again regularly on Sunday morning at the scheduled time. Shriramvallabha Kunj official Rajkumar Das Maharaj told that if the doors of the temple will be closed due to Sutak, then how will the celebration be possible. He said that the festival is celebrated on Purnima by seeing the full moon with sixteen arts. On this day, nectar is showered by the moon rays but if the moon is afflicted then celebration is not appropriate.
What to do during eclipse-
- Purify yourself before the eclipse begins. It is considered auspicious to take bath before the eclipse starts.
- It is auspicious to worship your favorite God or Goddess during the eclipse period.
- Donating during lunar eclipse is considered very auspicious. After the eclipse ends, Ganga water should be sprinkled in the house.
- After the eclipse is over, one should take bath once again. It is said that this leads to auspicious results.
- Basil leaves should be added to food and drinks during the eclipse period.
Keep these things in mind during lunar eclipse-
- According to beliefs, food or water should not be consumed during the eclipse. It is said that by doing this the digestive capacity of the person becomes weak. Due to which the person is more likely to fall ill.
- It is said that no new work or auspicious work should be done during the eclipse. Doing this leads to failure in that work.
- Cutting nails, combing hair and brushing teeth during an eclipse is considered inauspicious. It is said that one should not sleep during the eclipse.
- It is said that knives or sharp objects should not be used during the eclipse. It is said that doing this leads to inauspicious results.
Pregnant women should take special care-
During the eclipse period, nature is affected by many types of impure and harmful rays. Therefore, there are many tasks which pregnant women should not do during the eclipse period.
– Do not use scissors, needles, knives or sharp objects during the eclipse.
– Do not take bath during eclipse. Take bath after the eclipse ends.
– Do not view the eclipse with open eyes. ,
– During the eclipse period, one should keep chanting the mantra given by Guru.
