Election Commission approves 4 percent DA and DR in electoral state Rajasthan, waiting in Chhattisgarh

Raipur: Virendra Namdev, convenor of Chhattisgarh State Joint Pensioners Federation and provincial president of Indian State Pensioners Federation of Chhattisgarh State, has said that today the Chief Minister of the election state Rajasthan, Ashok Gehlot has written in his post (X) that the 4℅ dearness allowance proposal has been rejected by the Election Commission. Approval has been received from the Government of India, now dearness allowance in Rajasthan has increased from 42℅ to 46℅. More than 8 lakh people and more than 4 lakh pensioners will benefit from this move.

Reacting to this message in Rajasthan CM’s (x) post, Virendra Namdev has sent a WhatsApp message to Chhattisgarh Chief Secretary Amitabh Jain demanding that now the matter is in your hands as you said during the direct meeting yesterday. On 30/10/23, the delegation of pensioners was assured in the Chief Secretary’s office that they will try to get permission from the Election Commission. Now, after the permission of the Election Commission in Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh government needs to speed up its efforts and take necessary action for immediate payment of DA/DR to the employees and pensioners.
