The accused of murdering a Swiss woman was in contact with many foreign women
Haryana. Police has received the mobile phone report of 33-year-old Gurpreet Singh, accused in the murder of a Swiss woman in Tilak Nagar area. It came to light that the accused had deleted Leena Burger and her chat. Police have recovered the chats of both.
The police officer said that the father of accused Gurpreet has a business of gems and astrology in West Delhi. Police suspect that the accused learned astrology from his father and used it to woo foreign women. The father of the accused is currently in Paris. Gurpreet was in contact with about half a dozen foreign women. Some chats have been found from his two mobiles, where he has talked to many women about gems and astrology. Police suspect that he lured them into friendship by offering them precious stones or using astrology tips.
The woman’s family will not come to India. Police reached Leena’s family in Zurich through the Embassy of Switzerland. It was revealed that Leena worked in a law firm in Switzerland. His family has refused to come to India. His body has been kept in the mortuary of a hospital in West Delhi. Now the police is waiting for NOC from the Swiss Embassy. Since identification of the dead body is an important part of the investigation, the police are planning to take the help of DNA and biometric processes.
