Dense fog in outer areas, there will be severe cold in Chhattisgarh after 3 days
Raipur. These days the weather pattern in Chhattisgarh is moving towards cold. The minimum temperature has fallen below normal in most areas. Also, humidity in the air has increased. Due to its effect, light and dense fog has started appearing in the morning in many districts including the capital. The day temperature is also continuously decreasing.
On Tuesday, Narayanpur was the coldest in the state and the minimum temperature recorded at Agricultural Science Center Narayanpur was 13.9 degrees Celsius. These days, the cold has started increasing in the rural areas as well as in the outer areas in the morning and at night. Meteorologists say that due to increase in minimum temperature in the coming two days, the cold will reduce slightly. The minimum temperature was recorded at 17.0 degrees Celsius in Durg and 17.2 degrees Celsius in Rajnandgaon. The mercury in Durg was three degrees below normal and the temperature in Rajnandgaon was two degrees below normal.
According to meteorologists, apart from Raipur, cold has increased in other plain areas including Durg, Bilaspur and Rajnandgaon due to falling mercury. Especially in the morning and evening, the cold has started being felt more in the outer areas of these districts. The minimum temperature of the state continues to decline. According to the Meteorological Department, there is no possibility of any significant change in the maximum temperature in the state in the coming 48 hours. But the effect of cold will intensify from November.
