Woman selling drugs arrested
Kishanganj. A woman businessman who was selling drugs including stolen Pulsar motorcycle has been arrested. A case was registered against the woman in the police station on October 31. Information about selling of liquor and drugs was received by ALTF in-charge SI Sanjay Kumar Yadav, SI Kameshwar Rai and police team at the house of Saraswati Devi husband Binod Chauhan, SI- Motibagh Ward No. 07 police station and district Kishanganj.
On which the police team knocked to verify the information. During the raid, 35 grams of ganja was recovered from Saraswati Devi, and 20 bottles of foreign liquor hidden in drums and an electric machine for measuring ganja/smack were recovered from inside her house, and an unregistered gray color Pulsar motorcycle from inside her house. Engine and chassis number 0 were recovered in worn out condition. It is noteworthy that Saraswati Devi’s husband Binod Chauhan has a previous criminal history and Saraswati Devi’s husband Binod Chauhan is involved in illegal liquor/narcotics business. Saraswati Devi has been arrested on the spot and sent to judicial custody and further action has been taken by registering a case in Kishanganj police station for possessing and selling illegal liquor.
